Comments: Had old crappy gutter guards which weren?t working too well, so needed ones that would actually work. I called Berger to find out the various options. They brought out samples of the various types. They explained the advantages of each and, as I?ve been blessed with pine tree all around and have those needles to content with every year, was able to pick the one where I wouldn?t have to climb ladders to my second story (high up!) gutters to clean off. Let?s be smart about this, right? Recommend the team there at Berger. Good information, good pricing and great product on my house.

Comments: Let's start with the price and quality. Quality was the same as other quotes. Price was HALF! The other companies tried to claim that Berger is less expensive because they cut corners. Not true. They were lightning quick with the install and dint leave behind so much as one metal shaving. Second is the commitment to customer service. When I had a problem with my install based on a misunderstanding I was put in contact with Danni (sorry on spelling if it's wrong) to help me fix the job. She agreed to send an associate back out at her expense to fix the issue even through it made the job less profitable for her. The Salesman Hank is also so experienced that the competing companies I shopped knew him and admitted he was the best at what he did. Try and top that! You should call Berger today, seriously.

Comments: Vernon came out and explained everything with my father. He kept in contact but was never pushy until I was finally ready. Installation crew was fast. Only thing I wasn't too happy with was I had to call to see what was the delay in scheduling my installation time. They explained that they were waiting on the material and once it was received they would schedule. It would have been nice to have been told that ahead of time but other than that, very happy.

Sales rep was not pushy and generated a number of different options so that we could prioritize our projects within the context of our budget. Final installation was awesome and with the large storm that came through, absolutely no rain water draining off our roof, except via the gutters, protecting the locations where we are installing gate openers and generators. We had a quote scheduling snafu and slight transparency issue between deposit payment and scheduling, but Berger was able to work with us on rectifying this.

Once i found out i had to give them a deposit before they would schedule the job, they came out and installed the gutters. They do great work, and the gutters look fantastic. Comments: We chose Berger Home Services because they offered an array of services beyond just installing gutters, our initial reason for contact. We did not discover this until we were talking to their estimator, so we inquired if they could handle a couple other projects we had on our plate. Considering that we had two homes that needed gutters, they worked with us. In this case, they were not the cheapest, but they offered better products and more versatility. Our only problems related to timing due to weather.

Comments: Great job by installers. Frustration mounted when the job could not be completed in the one day due to shortage of materials. The job was started on July 2, then they ran out of material and said due to the Holiday weekend, they would be back on Monday, the 6th. No word on Monday, on Tuesday they called and said work would be done either Thursday or Friday. I called Thursday when no one had arrived by noon, no call back. I called again on Friday and left a message at 9:30 am, again no return call. Finally at 2pm I sent an email and did get a return call. Was told they would check and let me know the status. Got a return call in a few minutes stating my job would be completed on the next day, Saturday. The installers showed up at 5:30 pm and by 6:30 the job was done. I was told the installers could not call and let me know they were all the way across town and would be here late. It seems they are not allowed to call the customer which in my case a simple phone call would have eliminated a lot of frustration.

Comments: I want to take time to leave an updated review regarding my particularly noteworthy experience. Tom S. went above and beyond to proactively remediate the situation. This time, he sent competent handyman team with 6+ years of experience, to fix 5 issues previously left in various states of unsatisfactory conditions, which include: 1) fixing 28 soffit vents, this time with consistency in size, alignment, and no gap showing 2) painted flashing in front gable to match frieze board 3) adjusted a splash block so it would channel water from downspout properly 4) added a splash block to another downspout without charge, even though this item was not in the original price quote 5) fixed an exterior sconce inadvertently knocked out of place The work items were completed within 2 days and my expectations were fully satisfied. Indeed, Berger Home Services values customer satisfaction, clearly indicated by proactive problem solving instead of spouting more excuses. I applaud their efforts to fix problems as soon as they become aware of them. Job well done.

Comments: They called right away to come give a quote even tough we were just re-doing the gutters on the backside of our house. I felt the quote was very reasonable. We ended up using them since no one else could make it by and they seemed to have a great rack record. We were not disappointed. We needed the biggest gutters available due to the downpours we had been having and water pooling against back of our house due to the current bad gutters we had. We got the 6" seamless gutters and I was even able to have them slightly angle them such that the flow would be away from our chimney/middle of roof span where we had major water issue. The color was perfect and they used a wedge mmetal piece to get the angle of gutter off the roof level. They were a little backed up with the installs due to everyone needing gutter work but they completed the job as soon as they could which was about 2 weeks. Now to see how they do with a heavy rain! Update: The gutters work perfectly! And no more water pooling issues around the back of our house. These seamless heavy duty gutters are a miracle and handle a large amount of water..

Comments: The whole process was smooth and easy. They came out and gave me a quote that was more than competitive. In fact, they were the least expensive (by a wide margin) of the 3 quotes I received from larger companies. The hed a lot of colors to chose from so I was able to match existing gutters. A few days later I received an email with the scheduled time for the installation and all I had to do was email back with a confirmation and everything was set. I didn't even need to be home for the job. The crew that came out to do the job were professional and courteous. In about 2-3 hours they were finished with the job (new gutters on the back of my house), cleaned up and gone. That evening it rained and I found a small leak at a seam where the roofline changes angles. The same crew was out the next morning and made it right. That afternoon I received a phone call from the owner asking if everything was satisfactory and it was only then that I paid for the job over the phone with a credit card.
